About Us
By Rafa is a Moroccan modest fashion brand founded Rafa, a Bangladeshi-American who married into a Moroccan family.
It began with a closet full of borrowed gandouras and a question, why is it so hard to find the Moroccan clothes outside Morocco? The answer runs through Casablanca's ateliers, where every piece is cut, braided, and finished by hand, then carried from our family's city to your door.

At By Rafa, our values are simple: this culture belongs to Morocco, and the credit stays there. Every piece we make comes from Casablanca ateliers we know personally, shaped by Moroccan hands and traditions perfected over generations — sfifa, aakad, takchita — and we call each one by its name. We came to this heritage through marriage and love, not by blood, and we treat it like the gift it is: carried carefully, credited always, and never presented as our invention. Honoring Morocco isn't a line on our website — it's the reason there's a website at all.
